After winning the Data Science Bowl Kaggle competition in 2015, Pieter Buteneers from Ghent is ready to give a technical hands-on session covering the concepts and practice of machine learning.
You’ll be shown what you need to get started in understanding and developing your own machine learning models. You’ll learn how to build models that work outside of simulation and that can solve real-life problems. Once you’re up to speed, you’ll be shown how to grow your skills and advance on your own in the field of machine learning.
Pieter Buteneers is a data strategy and machine-learning consultant at CoScale. Previously, he was a postdoc at Ghent University where he did research on machine learning and deep learning applications for epilepsy patients. In 2016 he graduated from an MBA at Flanders Business School.
